Chandu Champion Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Kartik Aaryan is all over the headlines today and rightfully so. After all, his much anticipated movie Chandu Champion is hitting the theatres today. Directed by Kabir Khan, Chandu Champion happens to be a sports biopic based on India's first Paralympics gold medallist Murlikant Petkar. Interestingly, Kartik's phenomenal transformation for the film has managed to raise a lot of eyebrows and made it one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

Also starring Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Aniruddh Dave, Vijay Raaz in the lead, Chandu Champion marks Kartik's first collaboration with ace director Kabir Khan. Needless to say, there have been speculations about how the move will fare at the box office. Interestingly, the makers had left no stone unturned to keep the audience intrigued for Chandu Champion and even made this Kartik starrer the first movie to open advance booking at Burj Khalifa. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Chandu Champion has managed to rake in Rs 1.18 crores from the audience.

And now, it is reported that Chandu Champion is likely to witness a good start at the box office. In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, film business expert and producer Girish Johar stated, "The trailer has been received quite well and box office has been dry for a couple of weeks because of cricket matches, elections, so we are hoping for things to get green from Friday onwards with Chandu Champion. It's a Kabir Khan film, Kartik is also consolidating his position forming up him and growing with each passing film, all these are positive signs. It's a non holiday but the traction is good, it going to be a wide release. The film will open anywhere around the double digit mark likely to be around Rs 10 crores".

Well, if the reports turned out to be true, Chandu Champion is likely to become Kartik's fourth highest opener after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Love Aaj Kal 2 and Satyaprem Ki Katha. This isn't all. Chandu Champion is also likely to make it to the list of the top 5 highest openers of 2024 which has names like Fighter, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Shaitaan etc.

Meanwhile, talking about Chandu Champion, Kartik told Variety, "A lot of prep was required for the skill sets, for the body transformation, one needs to have a lot of patience, and a lot of mental balance. I had never been in this situation - I was doing romantic films or comedy films. But this was the first time that I was doing something like this where I had to do a war sequence, I had to do wresting and whatnot. I was intrigued what Murlikant Petkar's thought process would be. And Kabir-sir used to always tell me that it's all about the willpower. And that's the one line of the film also - the man who refused to surrender basically, in any circumstances in any given situation, how no matter how hard or tough it is".
