Chandu Champion Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction: Kartik Aaryan's recent release Chandu Champion has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. We are talking about Chandu Champion which is a sports biographical drama and marks Kartik's first collaboration with ace filmmaker Kartik Aaryan. The movie is based on India's first Paralympic gold medallist Murlikant Petkar and also features starring Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Aniruddh Dave, Vijay Raaz in key roles. Interestingly, Chandu Champion opened to rave reviews.

Interestingly, Kartik had left everyone in awe of his performance and phenomenal performance in Chandu Champion. After all, it presented Bollywood's lover boy in a never seen before avatar on the big screen. While the sports drama opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics, it witnessed an average start at the box office. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Kartik Aaryan starrer Chandu Champion made an opening day collection of Rs 4.75 crores.

To note, Chandu Champion turns out to be Kartik's second lowest opener in a decade after the 2017 release Guest Iin London. Given the ongoing trend, Chandu Champion is expected to see a good hike in numbers today (day 2/ Saturday) and is expected to rake in Rs 5-6 crores as it inches towards Rs 10 crores mark at the box office. Interestingly, while Chandu Champion is witnessing a competition from Sharvari and Abhay Verma's Munjya, it will be interesting to see how this sports drama will fare at the box office in the coming days.

Meanwhile, talking about Chandu Champion, Kartik told Variety, "A lot of prep was required for the skill sets, for the body transformation, one needs to have a lot of patience, and a lot of mental balance. I had never been in this situation - I was doing romantic films or comedy films. But this was the first time that I was doing something like this where I had to do a war sequence, I had to do wresting and whatnot. I was intrigued what Murlikant Petkar's thought process would be. And Kabir-sir used to always tell me that it's all about the willpower. And that's the one line of the film also - the man who refused to surrender basically, in any circumstances in any given situation, how no matter how hard or tough it is".
