Chandu Champion Box Office Collection Day 3 Prediction: Kartik Aaryan has all the reasons to grin from ear to ear today. After all, his recent release Chandu Champion, which marks his first collaboration with filmmaker Kabir Khan, has been winning hearts. For the uninitiated, Chandu Champion happens to be a sports biographical drama based on India's first Paralympic gold medallist Murlikant Petkar and also features Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Aniruddh Dave, and Vijay Raaz in key roles.

Chandu Champion managed to create a substantial buzz especially because of Kartik's incredible transformation as he narrates the inspiring story of Murlikant Petkar. Interestingly, this Kabir Khan directorial opened to rave reviews from the audience as fans called it Kartik's career best performance. As Chandu Champion was released amid a good abuzz, the movie recorded an opening day collection of Rs 4.75 crores and turned out to be Kartik's lowest opener in 7 days.

Interestingly, Chandu Champion saw a decent hike during the opening weekend. According to a report published in Sacnilk, the Kartik Aaryan starrer raked in Rs 6.75 crores yesterday (day 2/ first Saturday) which took the overall collections of the film to Rs 11.50 crores. Given the trend, Chandu Champion is all likely to see another hike in numbers and is expected to mint Rs 6-8 crores as it will inch towards Rs 20 crores mark at the box office.

Meanwhile, talking about Chandu Champion, Kartik told Variety, "A lot of prep was required for the skill sets, for the body transformation, one needs to have a lot of patience, and a lot of mental balance. I had never been in this situation - I was doing romantic films or comedy films. But this was the first time that I was doing something like this where I had to do a war sequence, I had to do wresting and whatnot. I was intrigued what Murlikant Petkar's thought process would be. And Kabir-sir used to always tell me that it's all about the willpower. And that's the one line of the film also - the man who refused to surrender basically, in any circumstances in any given situation, how no matter how hard or tough it is".
