Chandu Champion Box Office Collection Day 7: Kartik Aaryan, who has carved a niche for himself as a lover boy, is now making headlines for his recent release. We are talking about Kabir Khan directorial Chandu Champion which is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The movie marks Kartik's first collaboration with Kabir Khan and happens to be a sports biographical drama which narrated the story of India's first Paralympic gold medallist Murlikant Petkar. Interestingly, Chandu Champion presented Kartik in a never seen before avatar which left everyone in absolute awe.

Also Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Aniruddh Dave, and Vijay Raaz in key roles, Chandu Champion had opened to rave reviews from the audience with fans terming it to be Kartik's career best performance. Despite a good response from the audience, Chandu Champion recorded an opening day collection of Rs 4.75 crores. Though the movie saw a good hike during the opening weekend, it was seen struggling at the box office during the first week. Yes! Chandu Champion saw a significant drop of 48% on day 4 (first Monday) and minted Rs 5 crores.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Chandu Champion has been witnessing a continuous drop in numbers during the first week. But despite all the struggle, Chandu Champion is shines bright as he nears a milestone at the box office. The movie minted Rs 3.25 crores on day 5 (first Tuesday), followed by a collection of Rs Rs 3 crores on day 6 (first Wednesday). Interestingly, Chandu Champion has been trying to have a good hold at the box office and minted Rs 2.50 crores on day 7 (first Thursday) as per early estimates taking the overall collections of the movie to Rs 35.25 crores. As Chandu Champion enters the second week now, it will be interesting to see how it will fare at the box office in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Kabir Khan recently spoke about the low opening of Chandu Champion and told Times Now, "The slow start did throw us off balance. But luckily, the word-of-mouth was positive. Let's see how it goes from here. Nowadays, it's hard to predict anything about the box office. We made a film which we thought would be liked by the audience. I am glad the audience ratio is increasing. These are tough times. We should be grateful for whatever attention the audience gives us".
