Devara Part 1 Box Office Collection Prediction Day 2 (Hindi): Will Jr NTR-Janhvi's Film BEAT Kalki 2898 AD?

Devara (Hindi) Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction: Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan starrer 'Devara Part 1' witnessed a bumper opening at the box office. Amid much buzz, the Koratala Siva directorial hit cinemas globally yesterday, 27th September 2024. Set against the backdrop of a fictional coastal village, Devara Part 1 released in 5 languages - Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. In the Hindi belt, the action-drama surprised everyone with a beyond-expectation opening.

Starring Jr NTR in the lead, Devara Part 1 stars Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady 'Thangam' and Saif Ali Khan as the deadly villain 'Bhaira'. For those unversed, the movie marks both Janhvi and Saif's debut in Telugu films.

Devara witnessed a solid start at the box office and grossed Rs 172 CRORES worldwide on the opening day. Yes you read that right! Even in the Hindi belt, the movie had a surprising opening. According to the trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Devara earned Rs 7.95 cr on day 1 in Hindi. To note, Devara marks Janhvi's biggest opener of her career.

"#Devara - #Hindi version - opens much, much HIGHER than industry expectations, with mass pockets giving the #JrNTR starrer a strong push on Day 1," Taran wrote.

As reported by Sacnilk, the Telugu action-drama had an overall 18.37% Hindi occupancy yesterday. The majority of the collection is coming from the Telugu region.

Devara Box Office Collection Prediction Today (Hindi): Will Devara Part 1 Surpass Kalki 2898 AD's Numbers?

Given the buzz around the film, Devara - including the Hindi version - is expected to see a significant hike in numbers today (Saturday, Sept 28). With all the positive word-of-mouth, the Hindi version is likely somewhere between Rs 8-10 cr today on day 2.

Despite the great jump, Jr NTR-Janhvi's film might fail to beat Prabhas-Deepika Padukone starrer Kalki 2898 AD's day 2 Hindi collection. As per Sacnilk, Kalki 2898 AD had earned around Rs 23 cr in the Hindi belt on the second day of its release.
