Double iSmart (Hindi) Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: August 15 is an important day for the box office as several big releases are looking forward to hitting the screens on the occasion of Independence Day 2024. Among these, Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt starrer Double iSmart has been making headlines for its upcoming release. Directed Puri Jagannadh, Double iSmart is a Telugu science action thriller which has been co-produced by Charmy Kaur.

To note, Double iSmart is the spiritual sequel to iSmart Shankar and features Ram Pothineni, Sanjay Dutt, Kavya Thapar, Bani J, Sayaji Shinde and Getup Srinu in the lead. Interestingly, Double iSmart marks Sanjay Dutt's debut in Telugu industry. The movie has managed to create a massive buzz in the town with its impressive trailer. Interestingly, Double iSmart is releasing in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, producer and film business expert Girish Johar stated, "The traction of the film specifically in the Hindi market is below power. The excitement level is little under the radar. The south market will be quite big. Will have a tough ride". He also emphasised that Double iSmart is likey to have a low start at the box office in the Hindi market with an opening day collection of around Rs 1 crores.

It is reported that Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing the role of a lead antagonist in Double iSmart. Talking about working with Ram, Sanjay stated, "It was a pleasure and an honour working with him. He is like a younger brother to me and he is a good performer and a hard worker and we had a lot of fun while filming in Dubai and other locations"

To note, Double iSmart will be witnessing a box office clash with Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2, John Abraham and Sharvari's Vedaa and Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu starrer Khel Khel Mein. So far, Stree 2 has been maintaining a lead at the box office and even recorded the highest advance booking collection of 2024 with an earning of Rs 23.18 crores.
