Dunki Box Office Collection Day 20: SRK’s Film Struggles To Make 2Cr After Crossing 218Cr

Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani directorial Dunki has been one of the biggest releases of 2023 and it had opened to a decent response from the audience. The movie came with an interesting ensemble of cast of King Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani in the lead. Dunki is based on a relevant topic of the eponymous illegal immigration technique.

Dunki started the journey with a decent collection of Rs 29.2 crores and after struggling through the week days and striving hard during the weekends, Dunki has managed to enter the coveted Rs 200 crores club in two weeks. And while the second week did witness a drop in collections, Dunki saw a spike in collections during the third weekend and did manage to cross Rs 216 crores.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Dunki raked in Rs 1.6 crores yesterday (day 19/ third Monday) and took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 218.17 crores. Given the ongoing trend, Dunki will be seen struggling to make Rs 1-2 crores today (day 20/ third Tuesday) at the box office.

Interestingly, Dunki has been witnessing a box office clash with Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran's much talked about movie Salaar and the latter is giving it a tough fight. Yes! Salaar has managed to crush Dunki and made an opening day collection of Rs 90.7 crores after opening to rave reviews from the audience. This isn't all. Salaar, which has been helmed by ace filmmaker Prashanth Neel, has also reportedly scored Rs 175 crores at the worldwide box office on its day of release. In fact, it has raked in Rs 400 crores worldwide so far in just 4 days of release and has recently entered the coveted Rs 600 crores club worldwide.
