Fighter Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Hrithik’s Film Fails To Beat Jawan, Pathaan With A HUGE Gap

It's January 25 and the wait is finally over. The wait to witness Siddharth Anand's recent directorial, the wait to see Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone set the screens of fire, the wait to witness one of the most anticipated aerial action thriller. We are talking about Fighter, which also stars Anil Kapoor and Karan Singh Grover in the lead and has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

And while Fighter has finally hit the screens today, there have been speculations about how the movie will fare at the box office. After all, it is one of the biggest releases of 2024. To note, Fighter has opened to rave reviews from the audience and is touted to be a blockbuster by netizens. However, it opened to a decent collection from the audience on day 1

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Fighter made a collection of Rs 8 crores from the advance booking for day 1 and is likely to mint Rs 25 crores today at the box office. If the reports turned out to be true, it will emerge as Hrithik's third highest opener after War and Krissh 3. Interestingly, it will be the fourth highest opener for Deepika after Pathaan, Happy New Year and Chennai Express.

It is evident that despite a massive buzz, Fighter seems to have failed to beat Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, Jawan, Ranbir Kapoor's Animal and Salman Khan's Tiger 3 with a huge gap. In fact, Fighter's opening day collection is less than half the collection of Jawan (Rs 65.5 crores), Pathaan (Rs 55 crores) and Animal (Rs 54.75 crores). It will be interesting to see how it will fair in the coming days.

Meanwhile, as Hrithik has collaborated with Deepika for the first time in Fighter, he has been all praises for the actress. Talking to ANI he said, "With Deepika, it became really easy because she brings realism in her work, so I was consciously just bouncing off her bat; each line she says is coming from a deep place, and I could tell this is real, and if I don't maintain that I might look like I am overdoing things so I had to make sure I am acting that frequency and thanks to her every scene between Patty and Minni look so extremely vulnerable, extremely endearing and very very real".
