Fighter Box Office Collection Day 12 Prediction: Hrithik’s Film To See Major Dip; To Struggle To Cross 180Cr

Siddharth Anand's recent directorial Fighter has been the talk of the town for several reasons. The movie has been one of the most talked aerial action films and also brings together a stellar cast of Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshaye Oberoi. Interestingly, Fighter has witnessed a decent start at the box office, however, it was seen struggling at the box office after the opening weekend.

After an opening day collection of Rs 22.5 crores and minting Rs 118 crores during the opening weekend, Fighter witnessed a massive drop in numbers during the first week. In fact, as per the box office report, Fighter was seen struggling to cross Rs 10 crores mark ahead of the second weekend. However, second weekend did change the game for this Hrithik and Deepika starrer and the movie witnessed a decent spike in numbers.

After a jump of 82% on day 10 (second Saturday), Fighter minted Rs 10.5 crores and saw another jump on day 11 (second Sunday). According to a report published in Sacnilk, Fighter earned Rs 12.75 crores yesterday (day 11/ second Sunday) and took the overall collection to Rs 175.5 crores.

Given the on going trend, Fighter is likely to witness a significant drop in collections today (day 12/second Monday) and will be seen minting Rs 3-5 crores. It is evident that it will be struggling to cross Rs 180 crores at the box office. With Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya hitting the screens on February 9, it will be interesting to see if Fighter will cross the Rs 200 crore mark in the coming week.

Meanwhile, as Hrithik has collaborated with Deepika for the first time in Fighter, he has been all praises for the actress. Talking to ANI he said, "With Deepika, it became really easy because she brings realism in her work, so I was consciously just bouncing off her bat; each line she says is coming from a deep place, and I could tell this is real, and if I don't maintain that I might look like I am overdoing things so I had to make sure I am acting that frequency and thanks to her every scene between Patty and Minni look so extremely vulnerable, extremely endearing and very very real".
