Fighter Box Office Collection Day 14: Hrithik’s Film To Stay Steady Ahead Of TBMAUJ Release; To Cross 183Cr

Siddharth Anand, who has given several hit movies including War, Pathaan etc, has been all over the headlines these days for his recent release. We are talking about Fighter which is an aerial action drama and features Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Karan Singh Grover, Anil Kapoor and Akshaye Oberoi. It has been one of the most anticipated movies of the year and it did open to a decent response.

After an opening day collection of Rs 22.5 crores and crossing Rs 118 crores mark during the opening weekend, Fighter was off to a decent start. However, it witnessed a downfall in the first week itself and was struggling hard at the box office. However, the second weekend came as a sigh of relief and Fighter managed to cross Rs 175 crores.

Interestingly, despite a significant fall on the second Monday, Fighter has been going steady at the box office. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Fighter raked in Rs 3.38 crores yesterday (day 13/second Tuesday) which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 181.88 crores. Given the trend, Fighter is likely to remain steady and mint Rs 2-3 crores today (day 14/ second Wednesday). With Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya hitting the screens on February 9, it will be interesting to see if Fighter will cross the Rs 200 crore mark in this week.

Meanwhile, as Hrithik has collaborated with Deepika for the first time in Fighter, he has been all praises for the actress. Talking to ANI he said, "With Deepika, it became really easy because she brings realism in her work, so I was consciously just bouncing off her bat; each line she says is coming from a deep place, and I could tell this is real, and if I don't maintain that I might look like I am overdoing things so I had to make sure I am acting that frequency and thanks to her every scene between Patty and Minni look so extremely vulnerable, extremely endearing and very very real".
