Fighter Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction: Hrithik’s Film To Cross 50Cr During Republic Day Celebrations

Siddharth Anand's recent directorial Fighter has been one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi in the lead, the movie happens to be an aerial action drama and has opened to rave reviews from the audience. The audience has been in awe of Hrithik's performance in the movie.

Besides, Deepika's stint, the background music and VFX, everything about Fighter has been making headlines. Interestingly, Fighter witnessed a decent opening at the box office on day 1 and made a collection of over Rs 24 crores on the day of release. To note, it marked Hrithik's fifth highest opening after War, Krrish 3, Bang Bang and Agneepath respectively. And while Fighter has a touch of patriotism in it as the lead cast plays the role of Indian Air Force Officers, the aerial action drama is likely to see growth in collection today on day 2.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Fighter saw a significant growth in advance booking collection on day 2 with a collection of Rs 13.12 crores while it was Rs 8.4 crore on day 1. Given the fact that it is a day of Republic Day celebrations, Fighter is likely to make a collection of Rs 25-30 crores today and cross the Rs 50 crores mark at the box office. It will be interesting to see if Fighter can maintain the growth in the coming days and how it will fare at the box office during the opening weekend.

Meanwhile, as Hrithik has collaborated with Deepika for the first time in Fighter, he has been all praises for the actress. Talking to ANI he said, "With Deepika, it became really easy because she brings realism in her work, so I was consciously just bouncing off her bat; each line she says is coming from a deep place, and I could tell this is real, and if I don't maintain that I might look like I am overdoing things so I had to make sure I am acting that frequency and thanks to her every scene between Patty and Minni look so extremely vulnerable, extremely endearing and very very real".
