Fighter
Box
Office
Collection
Day
2:
Pathaan
and
Fighter
have
multiple
things
in
common
like
director
Siddharth
Anand,
female
lead
Deepika
Padukone,
same
release
date,
holiday
weekend,
and
patriotism
as
the
basic
theme.
Well,
Fighter
content
wise
is
clearly
much
better
than
Pathaan,
but
if
we
look
at
first
two
days
collection,
then
the
Hrithik
Roshan
and
Deepika
Padukone
starrer
is
nowhere
near
to
Shah
Rukh
Khan's
film.
Pathaan
on
a
non-holiday,
25th
January,
had
taken
an
opening
of
Rs.
55
crore
(Hindi),
while
Fighter
took
an
opening
of
Rs.
22.50
crore.
If
we
talk
about
the
second
day,
which
was
a
National
Holiday
(26th
January),
last
year
Shah
Rukh
Khan
starrer
had
minted
Rs.
68
crore
(Hindi),
and
this
year,
Hrithik
Rosan
and
Deepika
Padukone
starrer
has
collected
Rs.
39.50.
So,
in
two
days,
Pathaan
had
crossed
100
crore
with
a
collection
of
Rs.
123
crore,
and
Fighter's
two-day
collection
is
Rs.
62
crore
which
is
like
half
of
what
Pathaan
did.
After
a
huge
jump
on
Republic
Day,
Fighter
has
drop
a
bit
today.
While
the
morning
occupancy
yesterday
was
of
around
47%
(3D
and
2D
both),
today's
morning
occupancy
is
around
35%
(3D
and
2D
both).
So,
there's
a
drop
of
around
12%.
On
its
third
day,
Pathaan
had
also
dropped,
but
still
it
collected
Rs.
39.25
crore
which
is
actually
what
Fighter
collected
on
its
second
day
(National
Holiday).
Will
Fighter
Enter
The
100
Crore
Club
Today?
Today,
if
the
film
continues
to
do
well
in
the
afternoon
and
evening
shows,
we
can
expect
a
collection
of
around
Rs.
30
crore.
However,
it
looks
difficult
that
Fighter
will
cross
100
crore
today.
For
now,
it
looks
like
the
movie
is
heading
for
around
Rs.
120
crore
extended
weekend.
But,
it
all
depends
on
how
the
film
performs
during
the
weekdays
and
if
it
passes
the
Monday
test.
Well,
if
we
compare
Pathaan
and
Fighter's
collection,
it
clearly
proves
that
the
stardom
of
Shah
Rukh
Khan
worked
in
the
favour
of
the
former.
