Hrithik
Roshan
and
Deepika
Padukone
have
left
everyone
in
awe
with
their
first
collaboration.
We
are
talking
about
Siddharth
Anand's
directorial
Fighter
which
also
featured
Anil
Kapoor,
Karan
Singh
Grover
and
Akshaye
Oberoi
in
the
lead
and
was
touted
to
be
an
aerial
action
drama.
The
movie
featured
the
lead
cast
in
the
role
of
Indian
Air
Force
Officers
and
opened
to
decent
response
from
the
audience.
The
movie
started
the
box
office
journey
with
Rs
22.5
crores
and
while
it
has
been
struggling
during
the
weekdays,
the
weekends
were
a
sigh
of
relief
for
the
makers
with
growth
in
the
numbers.
In
fact,
Fighter
managed
to
rake
in
Rs
196.9
crores
after
the
third
weekend.
In
fact
according
to
a
report
published
in
Sacnilk,
Fighter
minted
Rs
1.2
crores
yesterday
(day
19/
third
Monday)
which
took
the
overall
collection
of
the
movie
to
Rs
198.1
crores.
It
is
evident
that
Fighter
is
maintaining
a
steady
hold
at
the
box
office
despite
witnessing
a
competition
from
Shahid
Kapoor
and
Kriti
Sanon
starrer
Teri
Baaton
Mein
Aisa
Uljha
Jiya.
Given
the
trend,
Fighter
is
expected
to
mint
Rs
1
crore
today
(day
30/
third
Tuesday)
at
the
box
office
and
inch
closer
to
Rs
200
crores
mark.
Meanwhile,
as
Hrithik
has
collaborated
with
Deepika
for
the
first
time
in
Fighter,
he
has
been
all
praises
for
the
actress.
Talking
to
ANI
he
said,
"With
Deepika,
it
became
really
easy
because
she
brings
realism
in
her
work,
so
I
was
consciously
just
bouncing
off
her
bat;
each
line
she
says
is
coming
from
a
deep
place,
and
I
could
tell
this
is
real,
and
if
I
don't
maintain
that
I
might
look
like
I
am
overdoing
things
so
I
had
to
make
sure
I
am
acting
that
frequency
and
thanks
to
her
every
scene
between
Patty
and
Minni
look
so
extremely
vulnerable,
extremely
endearing
and
very
very
real".
