It's
been
almost
a
month
since
Hrithik
Roshan
and
Deepika
Padukone
starrer
Fighter
had
hit
the
screens
and
the
movie
continues
to
create
ripples
at
the
box
office.
Helmed
by
Siddharth
Anand,
the
movie
features
the
lead
cast
in
the
role
of
Indian
Air
Force
officers
and
also
features
Anil
Kapoor,
Akshaye
Oberoi
and
Karan
Singh
Oberoi
in
key
roles.
The
aerial
action
drama
has
managed
to
grab
a
lot
of
eyeballs.
Interestingly,
Fighter
has
enjoyed
a
decent
journey
at
the
box
office
since
day
one.
The
movie
made
an
opening
day
collection
of
Rs
22.5
crores
and
crossed
Rs
100
crores
mark
during
the
opening
weekend
itself.
While
Fighter
has
been
struggling
during
the
weekdays,
it
has
been
seeing
impressive
growth
during
the
weekends.
Interestingly,
Fighter
managed
to
cross
Rs
200
crores
mark
on
Valentine's
Day.
While
it
did
see
a
significant
dip
in
collections
after
Valentine's
Day,
Fighter
did
see
a
decent
hike
during
the
fourth
weekend.
According
to
a
report
published
in
Sacnilk,
Fighter
has
managed
to
see
a
growth
of
94%
in
collections
and
minted
Rs
1.65
crores
yesterday
(day
24/
fourth
Saturday)
which
took
the
overall
collections
of
the
movie
to
Rs
204.3
crores.
Given
the
trend,
Fighter
is
likely
to
mint
Rs
1.5-2
crores
today
(day
25/
fourth
Sunday)
and
will
be
crossing
Rs
205
crores
mark
at
the
box
office.
With
Fighter
facing
a
competition
from
Teri
Baaton
Mein
Aisa
Uljha
Jiya,
it
will
be
interesting
to
see
how
will
the
movie
fare
in
the
fourth
week.
Meanwhile,
as
Hrithik
has
collaborated
with
Deepika
for
the
first
time
in
Fighter,
he
has
been
all
praises
for
the
actress.
Talking
to
ANI
he
said,
"With
Deepika,
it
became
really
easy
because
she
brings
realism
in
her
work,
so
I
was
consciously
just
bouncing
off
her
bat;
each
line
she
says
is
coming
from
a
deep
place,
and
I
could
tell
this
is
real,
and
if
I
don't
maintain
that
I
might
look
like
I
am
overdoing
things
so
I
had
to
make
sure
I
am
acting
that
frequency
and
thanks
to
her
every
scene
between
Patty
and
Minni
look
so
extremely
vulnerable,
extremely
endearing
and
very
very
real".
