Fighter Box Office Collection Day 5 Prediction: Hrithik’s Film To Sees Drop On 1st Monday As It Crosses 125Cr

Hrithik Roshan has been one of the sought after actors in Bollywood and he has been making headlines ever since he collaborated with Siddharth Anand for the second time after War for their recent release Fighter. Also starring Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor and Karan Singh Grover in the lead, Fighter has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year and this aerial action drama has opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics.

While Fighter started its journey with Rs 22.5 crores on the opening day, it did see growth during the Republic Day celebrations and the opening weekend. In fact, according to Sacnilk, Fighter minted Rs 27.5 crores on its first Saturday (day 3) followed by Rs 29.03 crores yesterday (day 4/first Sunday). It not just entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club in four days of release but managed to cross Rs 118 crore mark as well.

However, given the box office trend for the first Monday, Fighter is likely to see a significant drop in collections today (day 5). It is expected that Fighter will be minting around Rs 15-20 crores at the box office today and it will take the overall collection to over Rs 132 crore. While the official numbers will be out by the end of the day, it has already minted Rs 42 lakhs from the morning show.

Meanwhile, as Hrithik has collaborated with Deepika for the first time in Fighter, he has been all praises for the actress. Talking to ANI he said, "With Deepika, it became really easy because she brings realism in her work, so I was consciously just bouncing off her bat; each line she says is coming from a deep place, and I could tell this is real, and if I don't maintain that I might look like I am overdoing things so I had to make sure I am acting that frequency and thanks to her every scene between Patty and Minni look so extremely vulnerable, extremely endearing and very very real".
