Fighter Box Office Collection Day 7 Prediction: Hrithik’s Film To See Steady Growth As It Inches Towards 140Cr

Siddharth Anand has been all over the headlines these days and rightfully so. After all, his recent directorial Fighter, starring Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor and Karan Singh Grover, has been winning millions of hearts. The aerial action drama has been one of the most talked about movies of the year and managed to soar high at the box office during the opening weekend.

Fighter, which opened with a collection of Rs 22.5 crores, saw impressive growth in collections during the Republic Day celebrations and the weekend wherein it made Rs 118 crores. However, it saw a significant drop in collection on the first Monday of 72% and was seen struggling at the box office. While Fighter minted just Rs 8 crores on day 5 (first Monday), it remained steady on first Tuesday (day 6).

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Fighter minted Rs 7.75 crores yesterday (day 6/ first Tuesday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 134.25 crores. Given the ongoing trend, this Hrithik and Deepika starrer is expected to stay steady today (day 7/ first Wednesday) as it inches towards Rs 140 crores mark. The movie is expected to rake in Rs 5-7 crores today. In fact, it has minted Rs 50 lakhs from the morning show.

Meanwhile, as Hrithik has collaborated with Deepika for the first time in Fighter, he has been all praises for the actress. Talking to ANI he said, "With Deepika, it became really easy because she brings realism in her work, so I was consciously just bouncing off her bat; each line she says is coming from a deep place, and I could tell this is real, and if I don't maintain that I might look like I am overdoing things so I had to make sure I am acting that frequency and thanks to her every scene between Patty and Minni look so extremely vulnerable, extremely endearing and very very real".
