Fighter Box Office Collection: Hrithik-Deepika Starrer Is Quite Behind Tiger 3 Which Was Just A Decent Hit

Fighter Tiger 3 2

Fighter Box Office Collection: Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter is the first Bollywood biggie that has hit the big screens in 2024. The film has received positive reviews, but as a movie mounted on a huge scale, in two days, the collection hasn't been great. The collection is not bad, but it's also not huge to make Fighter a blockbuster.

Fighter in two days has collected Rs. 62 crore. It released on a non-holiday and had a very decent opening, and it showed a huge jump on its day 2, which was a National Holiday (26th January). But, when we compare Fighter with other biggies that were released last year, especially during the Holiday weekend, we can see that the movie has not been able to beat them.

While Pathaan and Jawan were blockbusters and they did insane business at the box office, Fighter despite getting positive reviews, have failed to beat Tiger 3 which had received mixed reviews from the critics. The Salman Khan starrer was released on a Sunday and it was Diwali also on the same day. The movie on its day one had collected Rs. 43 crore (Hindi) which is very good as in the evening many people would have been busy celebrating Diwali at home.

However, what surprised one and all was that on the second day, which was a partial holiday, Tiger 3 showed a jump and went on to collect Rs. 58 crore (Hindi), taking the two-day total to Rs. 103.75 crore. The lifetime collection of Tiger 3 was Rs. 276.62 crore. It wasn't a blockbuster, but it was a decent hit at the box office.

Will Fighter Beat Tiger 3 At The Box Office?

Now, Fighter is quite behind Tiger 3 (at least for now), if we look at the two-days collection. So, if Tiger 3 couldn't become a blockbuster will Fighter be able to become a super hit? Well, let's wait and watch as the movie has just been released and still there are many days left for the movie to collect at the box office.

It is expected that by the end of its extended first weekend, Fighter will enter the 100 crore club. But, everything will depend on the Monday collection and how it performs further.
