Gladiator II Box Office Collection Day 3 India: The highly-anticipated sequel 'Gladiator II' - directed and co-produced by Ridley Scott - completed its opening weekend in India and the box office report card looks a lit bit underwhelming. The much-awaited sequel to the 2000 Hollywood blockbuster, Gladiator II (Gladiator 2) hit cinemas globally on 15 November 2024.

Starring Paul Mescal as 'Lucius' and Pedro Pascal as 'Marcus', the Hollywood epic period war-drama opened to mixed reviews from the audience and critics alike.

Gladiator II Box Office Collection Opening Weekend (India)

Amid much hype, Gladiator II - based on characters created by David Franzoni - kickstarted its theatrical journey in India on a dull note. As per Sacnilk, the Hollywood biggie managed to rake in around Rs 1.6 cr on the day of its release. On Saturday (day 2), the film witnessed a solid 50% jump and minted around Rs 2.4 cr, followed by a slight dip on Sunday.

According to the latest Sacnilk report, Ridley Scott-directorial Gladiator II collected approx. Rs 2.14 cr yesterday, taking the total net collection to Rs 6.14 cr in the opening weekend in India. As per the same report, the period war-drama had an overall 21.47% English occupancy and 9.83% Hindi occupancy on Sunday, November 17, 2024.

Day 2 (Saturday) : ₹ 2.4 cr

Day 3 (Sunday) : ₹ 2.14 cr

Gladiator II clashed with Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra's 'The Sabarmati Report' in India. The Paul Mescal-starrer failed to beat the Hindi political-thriller on the first weekend. While Gladiator 2 raked in around Rs 6.14 cr in 3 days, The Sabarmati Report managed to earn Rs 6.35 cr in the opening weekend, as reported by Sacnilk.
