Jigra Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Alia Bhatt, who was last seen in her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone, is coming up with her first release of the year 2024. We are talking about Jigra which is helmed by Vasan Bala and happens to be an action thriller. Also starring Vedang Raina in the lead and Sobhita Dhulipala, Manoj Pahwa, etc in key roles, Jigra has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. To note, Jigra has been co produced by Alia along with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

For the uninitiated, Jigra revolves around a young girl who is on a quest to save her brother who is being tortured in the foreign jail. The movie presents Alia in a never seen before avatar and the trailer has managed to create a massive buzz in the town. In fact, Jigra has opened to decent response as per the early reviews, Alia has managed to give a phenomenal performance in this Vasan Bala directorial. Vasan is a very intelligent filmmaker. The film is targeting the premium cities, the premium markets, the metro cities. It's a sister helping her brother out and it's a family bonding film. It's drama, thriller, action but in an intelligent space. It's targeting tier one and the metro cities. I would be happy if the film opens anywhere Rs 5-6cr plus to start with. The evening shows and the word of mouth will definitely make a difference. If it is appreciated, it can go up also from the evening onwards"

For the uninitiated, Jigra happens to be Alia's fifth release after pandemic - Gangubai Kathiawadi, RRR, Brahmastra and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani and each film managed to have a decent opening. It will be interesting to see if Jigra will show growth in the coming days.
