Jigra Box Office Collection Day 11: Alia Film Sees More Than 50% Drop On 2nd Monday; Struggles To Cross 30 Cr

Jigra Box Office Collection Day 11: Despite the positive pre-release buzz, Alia Bhatt-starrer 'Jigra' has failed to leave a mark at the box office. Helmed by Vasan Bala and jointly bankrolled by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Alia-led Eternal Sunshine Productions and Viacom18 Studios, the jail-break thriller had its theatrical release on October 11, 2024. From favouritism to fake box office collection, ang plagiarism, several serious allegations have also been labelled against the movie.

Jigra Box Office Collection 2nd Monday Report

Featuring Alia Bhatt as 'Satya' and Vedang Raina as 'Ankur' in the lead, along with Manoj Pahwa in an important role, Jigra opened to mixed reviews from the audience and critics alike. The film clashed with Rajkummar Rao-Triptii Dimri's 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' and managed to earn approximately Rs 4.5 cr on day 1. On Saturday, Jigra witnessed a noticeable growth in numbers. But since day 3, the film has been struggling to pull audiences to theatres.

According to the Sacnilk report, Alia-Vedang's Jigra recorded its lowest-single day on 2nd Monday. As the report suggests, the film saw a massive drop in numbers by more than 50% yesterday and managed to rake in around Rs 60 lakhs (early estimates) only. Now, the total Hindi nett collection of Jigra is estimated to be around Rs 27.59 cr in 11 days. The film is nearing to complete its 3rd week of theatrical run and has been struggling to even cross the 30 cr-mark at the box office.

Reportedly, the movie had an overall 8.56% Hindi occupancy on Monday, October 21.
