Jigra Box Office Collection Day 6: Alia Bhatt is one of the most talented actresses in Bollywood and there are no second thoughts about it. Singh etc. The movie narrates the story of an unconditional and unwavering love between siblings. Jigra revolves around a young girl Satya Anand, who is on a mission to save her brother Ankur as he is stuck in a foreign due to wrongful conviction. After seeing a hike in collections during the opening weekend, Jigra witnessed a massive drop in numbers on the first Monday and has been struggling at the box office ever since. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Jigra minted Rs 1.65 crores on day 4 (first Monday) followed by Rs 1.6 crores on day 5 (first Tuesday). Jigra saw a further drop in numbers on day 6 (first Wednesday) wherein it recorded a collection of Rs 1.25 crores only which took the movies overall collection to Rs 21.10 crores.

Alia Bhatt Gets Her Lowest First Wednesday Collection

Interestingly, Jigra has turned out to be Alia's worst performer so far. Yes! You read it right. This Vasan Bala directorial has been struggling to beat the collections her 2015 release Shaandaar which was touted to be her lowest performer till date. For the uninitiated, Shaandaar had minted Rs 1.4 crores on its first Wednesday post release.
