Jigra Box Office Collection Prediction Day 4: Despite Alia Bhatt's star-power, Jigra has been struggling at the box office. Directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Karan Johar-led Dharma Productions, Alia's Eternal Sunshine Productions and Viacom18 Studios, Jigra is a jail-break thriller story that stars Alia Bhatt and 'The Archies' fame Vedang Raina in the lead. The film follows the great-wrenching story of a sister (played by Alia) going against the world just to save his brother (played by Vedang).

Amid decent buzz, the movie hit cinemas on Friday (October 11), clashing with Rajkummar Rao-Triptii Dimri starrer 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video'. While both the films are struggling to pull audiences to cinemas, Alia's Jigra is lagging behind VVKWWV.

Jigra Box Office Collection Opening Weekend

Headlined by Alia Bhatt, Jigra opened to mixed reviews from audiences and critics alike. As per Sacnilk, the prison-break thriller-actioner collected Rs 4.5 cr on the opening day. Despite an underwhelming opening, the film witnessed a noticeable growth on Saturday and raked in around Rs 6.5 cr on day 2. However, the film saw a dip in numbers on the following day. The total 3 day-estimated collection of Jigra now stands at Rs 16.67 crores (nett Hindi).

Day 3 (Sunday): ₹5.67 cr

Even before the theatrical release, the Alia Bhatt starrer has been embroiled in controversy. From being labelled as the copy of 'Satya' to Divya Khossla accusing Alia of announcing 'fake' collections, Jigra has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons.

Amid the box office controversy and clash with Rajkummar-Triptii's 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video', Jigra is likely to see a huge drop today, first Monday.

According to Sacnilk, the movie has managed to rake in around Rs 23 lakhs as of now (till 1:30 pm) at box office. Given the current buzz, Jigra is expected to collect around Rs 2-3 cr today (day 4), struggling to even hit the Rs 20 cr mark at the box office.
