Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Collection Day 6 (Hindi): Deepika Padukone and Prabhas' first collaboration Kalki 2898 AD has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. After all, this Nag Ashwin directorial has brought together a stellar cast which also includes Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani and Amitabh Bachchan in key roles and is backed by an impressive storyline which is set in the post-apocalyptic world in the year 2898 AD. From Amitabh Bachchan's never seen before avatar to his fight sequences with Prabhas and even the VFX, everything about Kalki 2898 AD has been grabbing eyeballs.

Interestingly, Kalki 2898 AD, which was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada, witnessed a phenomenal start at the box office in all languages combined. The dystopian science fiction film saw an phenomenal opening at the box office in Hindi market wherein it made an opening day collection of Rs 22.5 crores. Interestingly, Kalki 2898 AD saw a good hike in numbers during the opening weekend wherein in crossed Rs 100 crores mark. Though first Monday came with a major dip in collections, it is maintaining a strong hold at the box office.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Kalki 2898 AD saw over 58% drop in numbers on day 5 (first Monday) and minted Rs 16.5 crores. It further saw a drop in numbers on day 6 (first Tuesday). The movie raked in Rs 14 crores and took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 142 crores. Interestingly, Kalki 2898 AD has not only recorded the highest day 6 collection of 2024 but also registered highest first Tuesday collection of the year. In fact, Kalki 2898 AD has managed to cross Rs 600 crores mark at the worldwide box office.

Meanwhile, Kalki 2898 AD will reportedly chronicle some events of the Mahabharata in the year of 3102 BC, Nag Ashwin in his interaction with Deadline stated that the movie "does not involve any characters actively worshipped by large numbers of Hindus". He further asserted, "We can take it as extremely religious or we can take it as the story of somebody who was born with a lot of power, didn't know what to do with it, and found his mentor in the process".
