Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Collection Day 6 (Hindi) Prediction: Nag Ashwin's recent directorial Kalki 2898 AD has one of the most talked about movies of the year as it brought together a stellar cast of Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani and Kamal Haasan in key role. Set in the post-apocalyptic world in the year 2898 AD, Kalki 2898 AD is made with a staggering budget of Rs 600 crores which makes it the most expensive film of the year. Interestingly, Kalki 2898 AD was released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages and it has opened to rave reviews across the nation.
Kalki 2898 AD made an impressive opening day collection of Rs 95.3 crores (all languages included) and has managed to cross Rs 340 crores so far in India. Interestingly, this Nag Ashwin directorial has been maintaining a good hold at the box office since the first day. After an opening day collection of Rs 22.5 crores, Kalki 2898 AD saw an impressive hike in the collections during the opening weekend wherein it entered the coveted Rs 100 crores club.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Kalki 2898 AD recorded its highest collection in Hindi on day 4 (first Sunday) wherein it minted Rs 40 crores. The movie saw its first drop in collections on the first Monday (day 5) wherein it saw a dip of over 58% and minted Rs 16.5 crores which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 128 crore. Given the trend, Kalki 2898 AD will be seen having a good hold at the box office and will be minting Rs 10-15 crores today (day 6/ first Tuesday) inching close to Rs 140 crores mark. Besides, Kalki 2898 AD has also crossed Rs 555 crores mark worldwide and is likely to cross Rs 600 crore mark soon
Meanwhile, Kalki 2898 AD has reportedly chronicle some events of the Mahabharata in the year of 3102 BC, Nag Ashwin in his interaction with Deadline stated that the movie "does not involve any characters actively worshipped by large numbers of Hindus". He further asserted, "We can take it as extremely religious or we can take it as the story of somebody who was born with a lot of power, didn't know what to do with it, and found his mentor in the process".
