Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Day 1 Prediction India: After creating immense buzz, Nag Ashwin's much anticipated multi-starrer Kalki 2898 AD is all set to release on June 27. The movie features Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani in the lead and happens to be a dystopian sci-fi film. From the interesting ensemble of cast to the trailer and looks of lead characters everything about Kalki 2898 AD has manager to create a massive buzz in the town.

According to a tweet shared by film critic and trade analyst Sumit Kadel, Kalki 2898 AD will be witnessing a bumper opening at the box office in India. While it has been witnessing an impressive advance booking in Telugu states, Kalki 2898 AD has been witnessing a decent response in terms of pre-sales in Hindi dominant areas. Sumit stated that Kalki is likely to mint Rs 80-100 crores all India nett.

It will be interesting to see if Kalki 2898 AD will manage to meet the expectations in India.
Meanwhile, Kalki 2898 AD will reportedly chronicle some events of the Mahabharata in the year of 3102 BC, Nag Ashwin in his interaction with Deadline stated that the movie "does not involve any characters actively worshipped by large numbers of Hindus". He further asserted, "We can take it as extremely religious or we can take it as the story of somebody who was born with a lot of power, didn't know what to do with it, and found his mentor in the process".
