Directed by Siva and produced by Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green and UV Creations, Kanguva stars Tamil superstar Suriya in a double role. The epic fantasy actioner features Bobby Deol as the menacing antagonist 'Udhiran' and Disha Patani as Kanguva's (played by Suriya) ladylove Angelina. The film also features Yogi Babu, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj and Natarajan Subramanium among others in important roles.

The official synopsis of the film reportedly reads, "A tribal warrior's fierce struggle to save his people a millennium ago is mysteriously linked to a shadow cop's perilous quest in the present."

After facing delays, Kanguva is finally all set to hot cinemas worldwide tomorrow (November 14). The Suriya starrer in releasing in 8 languages - Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, English, French and Spanish.

The advance booking of Suriya's Kanguva has kickstarted on a solid note. While the majority of the earnings are coming from the Tamil region, the film is also doing its magic in the Hindi belt. According to a tweet shared on X (formerly Twitter), the Hindi version of Kanguva has already managed to gross approximately Rs 89 lakhs (still counting) ahead of its release, beating Thalapathy Vijay's 'GOAT' and Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan'.

According to Sacnilk, the film has sold over 19k tickets as of now in the Hindi region.
