Kanguva Box Office Collection Day 3 (Hindi): Bobby Deol's massive fan following across the world can't keep calm as the actor has come with the first release of the year. After winning hearts with his phenomenal performance in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal, Bobby Deol is now making headlines for Kanguva which happens to be his Tamil Debut. Directed by Siva, Kanguva features Suriya in the lead and also marks Disha Patani's Tamil debut. To note, while Suriya plays a double role in the film, Bobby Deol is seen as the lead antagonist in Kanguva.

Interestingly, Kanguva was released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada etc. From the trailer to the star cast, Kanguva has managed to create a massive buzz in the town. After all, the fantasy action drama featured Suriya's face off with Bobby Deol and it has got the fans quite excited. As Kanguva has released amid a lot of of buzz, the movie has been doing a slow business in the Hindi market.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Kanguva made an opening day collection of Rs 3.5 crores in the Hindi market. This was followed by a drop in numbers on day 2 (first Friday) wherein it earned Rs 2.4 crores. The recent update suggest that Kanguva saw another drop in numbers and earned Rs 2.24 crores which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 8.14 crores in the Hindi market.

Kanguva Beats Vettaiyan On 1st Saturday

Interestingly, ever since Kanguva had hit the screens, it has been continuously compared to Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan which had released in October. And given the recent box office update, Kanguva has managed to beat Vettaiyan on the first Saturday in the Hindi market. For the uninitiated, Vettaiyan had minted Rs 65 lakhs in the Hindi market on the first Saturday. It will be interesting to see if Kanguva will pick up pace today in the Hindi market.
