Kanguva Box Office Collection Day 7 (Hindi): Kanguva, starring Suriya in the lead, has been one of the most talked about releases of the year. After all, it not only brought Suriya in a double and impressive roles but also marked the much talked about Tamil debut of Bollywood stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani. Interestingly, Bobby was seen playing the role of a lead antagonist in Kanguva and his face off with Suriya has got the fans quite excited about this epic fantasy action drama.

This isn't all. Apart from Suriya, Bobby Deol and Disha Patani, Kanguva also featured Yogi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, Karunas, K. S. Ravikumar, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Mansoor Ali Khan and Ravi Raghavendra in key supporting roles. From trailer to the stellar cast, everything about Kanguva has managed to create a massive buzz in the town. In fact, as Kanguva was released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages, it opened to decent reviews from the audience and critics and saw a good start at the box office in all languages.

Interestingly, after witnessing a good hold at the box office during the opening weekend, Kanguva saw a major dip in numbers on the first Monday. The fantasy action drama minted Rs 70 lakhs on first Monday (day 5) followed by a collection of Rs 85 lakhs on first Tuesday (day 6). According to a report published in Sacnilk, Kanguva saw a drop in collections on day 7 (first Wednesday) and minted Rs 67 lakhs which took the overall collections Kanugva to Rs 12.77 crores in week 1. It is evident that it failed to touch Rs 15 crores mark in the Hindi market

Kanguva Beats Vettaiyan On First Wednesday

To note, Kanguva has been frequently compared with Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan which had hit the screens earlier this year. Given Kanguva's strong hold at the box office, it has managed to beat Vettaiyan and minted thrice of its collection on first Wednesday. For the uninitiated, Vettaiyan had earned Rs 23 lakhs on its first Wednesday.
