Khel Khel Mein Advance Booking Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar is all over the headlines and rightfully so. After all, he is coming with his third release of the year as Khel Khel Mein. After treating fans with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Tiger Shroff and Sarfira opposite Radhika Madan, Akshay is coming up with a multi-starrer comedy drama which also features Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan etc.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Khel Khel Mein is the official Bollywood remake of Italian film Perfect Strangers and marks Akshay's second collaboration with Vaani Kapoor after Bell Bottom. Interestingly, as Khel Khel Mein has managed to create a substantial buzz with its interesting trailer and star cast, the makers had initiated the advance booking days before the release. However, Khel Khel Mein has been struggling at the box office since the first day.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Khel Khel Mein has sold 18339 tickets and has managed to rake in Rs 66.12 lakhs so far. As Khel Khel Mein has failed to touch Rs 1 crores mark with the advance booking, it is likely to surpass the advance booking collection Sarfira which had minted Rs 69.99 lakhs. However, it will still fail to beat the advance booking collection of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan which was around Rs 4.81 crores.

To note, Khel Khel Mein is witnessing a box office clash with Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 and John Abraham's action drama Vedaa. While it is a massive clash, Stree 2 is currently maintaining a lead in advance booking with a collection of Rs 12.66 crores while Vedaa has raked in Rs 65.23 lakhs. It will be interesting to see if Khel Khel Mein will end Akshay's dry spell at the box office.
