Khel Khel Mein Advance Booking Report Day 1: After hitting the big screen with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Sarfira, Akshay Kumar is coming up with his third release of the year and the audience can't keep calm about it. We are talking about Khel Khel Mein which is a multi-starrer project starring Akshay, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan etc. Helmed by Mudassar Aziz, Khel Khel Mein happens to be a comedy film which is the official remake of the 2016 Italian film Perfect Strangers and will be releasing on August 15.
The multi-starrer project marks Akshay's fourth collaboration with Taapsee after baby, Naam Shabana and Mission Mangal and second collaboration with Vaani Kapoor after Bell Bottom. Khel Khel Mein has managed to grab eyeballs with its impressive trailer and songs and given the substantial buzz in the town, the makers have commenced the advance booking collection of the film days before the release. However, despite the buzz, Khel Khel Mein saw a slow response in advance booking.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Khel Khel Mein has sold just 2056 tickets in 24 hours and has made a collection of Rs 8.81 lakhs only. To note, Khel Khel Mein is witnessing a box office clash with Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 and John Abraham and Sharvari's Vedaa which are also releasing on August 15 this year. It will be interesting to see if Khel Khel Mein will manage to give the other two a tough competition at the box office.
Meanwhile, according to a report published in Bollywood Hungama, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted the film a U/A rating but has mandated the removal of two cuss words. To note, Khel Khel Mein has a run time of 134 minutes and 7 seconds.
