Khel Khel Mein Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Akshay Kumar is on a roll this year. After treating fans with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Sarfira, the Mission Mangal actor is here with his third release of the year and the audience can't keep calm about it. We are talking about Khel Khel Mein which is helmed by Mudassar Aziz and also stars Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan etc. The movie is a comedy drama and is one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

Interestingly, Khel Khel Mein happens to be the official Bollywood remake of the Italian film Perfect Strangers which has already been remade 28 times. To note, Khel Khel Mein marks Akshay's second collaboration with Vaani after Bell Bottom and their chemistry is on point. And while Khel Khel Mein is having a box office clash with Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 and John Abraham and Sharvari's Vedaa, there have been speculations about how this Akshay starrer will fare at the box office.

In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, producer and film business expert Girish Johar stated, "It is definitely looking very good with an ensemble cast. Akshay is looking very good, everyone is looking good on screen. Khel Khel Mein has a very limited target audience. It's is an intelligent movie and is targeted at a very urban audience. The original version of the film has been made in around 28 languages. Because of OTT, most people may have seen the original movie. This is what happened with Sarfira also. Having said that, it has an ensemble, it is looking peoppy and colourful. It will very largely depend on the word of mouth. I believe it may start slow but it has a long run ahead". He also emphasised, "It is word of mouth dependent but I would be happy if it opens around Rs 5-6 crores mark".

If the reports turned out to be true, Khel Khel Mein will emerge as Taapsee Pannu's highest opener post the COVID 19 pandemic. Interestingly, Khel Khel Mein witnessed a slow response at the box office in terms of advance booking amid Stree 2 buzz. According to a report published in Sacnilk, this Akshay starrer raked in Rs 1.34 crores from advance booking for day 1.

Meanwhile, talking about Khel Khel Mein clash with John's Vedaa, Akshay had stated, "Clashes at the box office keep happening. It's not a big deal at all. It's just a clash and not a slash"
