The actor is coming with his tenth Independence day release in a decade with Khel Khel Mein and the excitement about the same is palpable. Helmed by Mudassar Aziz, Khel Khel Mein is a comedy drama which is the remake of the Italian film Perfect Strangers.

According to producer and film business expert Girish Johar, "Khel Khel Mein has a very limited target audience. It has an ensemble, it is looking peppy and colourful. It will very largely depend on the word of mouth. I believe it may start slow but it has a long run ahead. It is word of mouth dependent but I would be happy if it opens around Rs 5-6 crores mark"

If the box office report turned out to be true, Khel Khel Mein will becoming Taapsee Pannu's highest opener post the pandemic. Besides, Khel Khel Mein has raked in Rs 1.39 crores from the advance booking for day 1 and has surpassed the advance booking collection of Sarfira which was around Rs 69.99 lakhs
