Maidaan Box Office Collection Day 22 Prediction: Ajay Devgn witnessed an impressive start to 2024 and there are no second thoughts about it. The National Award Winning actor made headlines with the immense success of his first release of the year. We are talking about Shaitaan which was a psychological thriller and featured R Madhavan and Jyothika. Later, Ajay made headlines for his second release Maidaan which has been winning hearts.

Helmed by Amit Sharma, Maidaan happened to be a sports biopic on the life for pioneer football coach Syed Abdul Rahim who played a key role in revolutionising the game in India. Also starring Gajraj Rao and Priyamani in the lead, Maidaan has opened to rave reviews from the critics and the audience. And while the audience has been in absolute awe of Ajay's performance, the movie was seen struggling at the box office initially.

However, with a positive word of mouth, Maidaan seems to be growing slowly but gradually and has managed to maintain a strong hold at the box office in the third week. In fact, Maidaan is currently earning more than any other Bollywood movie in theatres right now in a single day.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Maidaan made an earning of Rs 1.14 crores yesterday (day 21/ third Wednesday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 45.09 crores. Given the trend, Maidaan is expected to mint Rs 1-1.5 crores today and is inching towards Rs 50 crores mark. It will be interesting to see if Maidaan will be able to achieve the milestone ahead of the fourth weekend.

Interestingly, Ajay Devgn's Maidaan witnessed a box office cash with Ali Abbas Zafar's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. While Bade Miyan Chote Miyan gave Maidaan a tough fight initially, Ajay's sports drama has managed to overtake BMCM gradually.
