Maidaan Vs BMCM Box Office Collection Day 26: Bollywood buffs witnessed one of the highly-anticipated clashes of this year with Maidaan Vs BMCM. Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar locked horns with their respective Eid releases of this year, Maidaan Vs Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Amid much anticipation, both the film hit cinemas on 11th April 2024, only to become box office debacles. Now as per the latest report, both Maidaan and BMCM managed to remain afloat on 4th Monday, however, Ajay's film stayed ahead of Aksah starrer.

Maidaan Vs BMCM Clash

Both Maidaan and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan have been struggling to pull audiences to theatres. Directed by Amit Sharma, Maidaan is a biographical sports drama based on the life of the football legend Syed Abdul Rahim with Devgn essaying the titular role. The film is made on a whopping budget of Rs 350 crores.

On the other hand, AKshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff's BMCM revolves aorund the story of two brave Indian army officers who set out on a deadly mission against India's mostly dangerous enemy. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the action-packed masala entertainer boasts an estimated budget of Rs 250 crores!

Maidaan Vs BMCM Box Office Collection Day 26 Report

Devgn's Maidaan had opened to a box office collection of Rs 7.1 crores (including Rs 2.6 cr earned from the paid reviews conducted on the previous day of its official release date), while Akki-Tiger's film raked in Rs 15.65 crores (Hindi - 15.5 cr; Tamil - 0.08 cr; Telugu - 0.05 cr; Kannada - 0.01 cr; Malayalam - 0.01 cr).

According to Sacnilk, Maidaan witnessed a drop on 4th Monday and raked in around Rs 45 lakhs on day 26, taking the total box office collection to Rs 48.85 crores!

As the report further suggests, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan managed to collect Rs 25 lakhs on day 26. The total collection of Akshay starrer now stands at Rs 64 crores (Hindi - 63.35 cr; Tamil - 0.35 cr; Telugu - 0.28 cr; Kannada - 0.01 cr; Malayalam - 0.01 cr)
