Devgn's Maidaan had opened to a box office collection of Rs 7.1 crores (including Rs 2.6 cr earned from the paid reviews conducted on the previous day of its official release date), while Akki-Tiger's film raked in Rs 15.65 crores (Hindi - 15.5 cr; Tamil - 0.08 cr; Telugu - 0.05 cr; Kannada - 0.01 cr; Malayalam - 0.01 cr).

According to the latest report published by Sacnilk, Maidaan collected around Rs 50 lakhs (early estimates) on 4th Wednesday, taking the total box office collection to Rs 49.85 crores in 28 days.

As the report further states, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan managed to mint Rs 25 lakhs (early estimates) on day 28. The total estimated collection of the masala action-entertainer now stands at Rs 64.50 crores!
