Headlined by Ajay Devgn, Maidaan - directed by Amit Sharma - is based on the illustrious life of the football legend, Syed Abdul Rahim. The biographical sports-drama is made on a whopping budget of Rs 350 crores.

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's masala action-entertainer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan revolves around the story of two fierce Indian army officers who embark on a deadly mission to fight against India's most dangerous enemy. The budget of this Ali Abbas Zafar directorial is estimated to be around Rs 250 crores.

Maidaan Vs BMCM Collection Day 32 Report

Devgn's Maidaan had opened to a box office collection of Rs 7.1 crores (including Rs 2.6 cr earned from the paid reviews conducted on the previous day if its official release date), while Akki-Tiger's film raked in Rs 15.65 crores (Hindi - 15.5 cr; Tamil - 0.08 cr; Telugu - 0.05 cr; Kannada - 0.01 cr; Malayalam - 0.01 cr).

According to the latest report published by Sacnilk, both Maidaan and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan have slowed down at the box office. Devgn's sports-drama managed to collect Rs 51 lakhs (early estimates) on 5th Sunday, taking the total 32-day estimated collection to Rs 51.26 crores.

On the other hand, Akki's BMCM dropped further below and minted around 20 lakhs (early estimates) on its 5th Sunday. The total collection is now estimated to be around Rs 65.13 crores in 32 days.
