Merry Christmas Box Office Collection Day 4 Prediction: Katrina-Vijay’s Film To See Lowest Collection Today

Katrina Kaif has been making the headlines ever since she was roped in for Sriram Raghavan's Merry Christmas. The thriller drama marked her first collaboration with Vijay Sethupathi and the fans were quite excited to see this new jodi on screen. And while Merry Christmas managed to create a decent buzz in ther town, it opened to mixed reviews from the audience and critics.

To note, this Sriram Raghavan directorial started its box office journey with Rs 2.45 crores but saw growth during the opening weekend. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Merry Christmas earned Rs 3.45 crores on day 2 (first Saturday) followed by a collection Rs 3.83 crores on day 3 (first Sunday) which took the over all collection to Rs 3.74 crores.

And now given the trend, Merry Christmas is likely to witness see a significant dip and record its lowest single day collection today (day 4/first Monday). The movie is expected to rake in Rs 1-2 crores today. In fact, Merry Christmas has managed to rake in Rs 0.09 crores so far from the morning shows.

Meanwhile, talking about working with Katrina Kaif, Vijay Sethupathi told Indian Express, "I never expected I'll work with Katrina Kaif. I'm a very big fan of Katrina. I was very happy when I saw her on the first day and I couldn't express (my happiness). She is a very thoughtful actor. She has so many questions. She thinks a lot. She is very dedicated. She comes up with an idea and she is ready to adapt. Even if she can't accept your thoughts, she will listen to you. She will put in a lot of effort to make a scene better. That's why she is in the industry not only because she is beautiful but also because she is sensible. Just on the basis of beauty you can't survive for so long. There should be sense and understanding. I felt it when I was working with her".
