We are talking about Mr and Mrs Mahi which is helmed by Sharan Sharma. The sports romance drama revolves around a couple and their passion for the game of cricket. Interestingly, Mr and Mrs Mahi happens to be one of the most anticipated release of the year.

Needless to say, the teaser, trailer and songs have managed to create a substantial buzz in the town. In fact, Janhvi and Rajkummar's chemistry as the lead pair has also been winning hearts leaving the fans wanting for more. As Mr and Mrs Mahi is expected to hit the screens on May 31, there have been speculations about how the movie will date at the box office. According to media reports, Mr and Mrs Mahi, which happens to be Janhvi's second collaboration with director Sharan Sharma, is expected to have a good start at the box office.

According to a report published in Pinkvilla, Mr and Mrs Mahi is expected to have an opening day collection between Rs 4-5 crores. If the reports turned out to be true, Mr and Mrs Mahi will beat Rajkummar's recent release Srikanth with a massive gap. For the uninitiated, Srikanth had minted Rs 2.25 crores on its opening day.

Meanwhile, talking about his character and the movie, Rajkummar stated, "My character's name is Mahendra, he is a failed cricketer, he had a lot of passion in his life for cricket, he wanted to be a cricket player one day and play for the country, but it didn't happen because of peer pressure, because of family pressure, so today he is walking on the path shown by his father and then they get married, Mahima and Mahendra. And then how he lived his dream through her. Because she used to play cricket, so he decides that he will train her and she is a doctor".
