Mr and Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor are all over the headlines and rightfully so. After all, their recent much talked about movie Mr and Mrs Mahi has finally hit the screens and has opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics. Helmed by Sharan Sharma, the movie happens to be a sports romantic drama which revolves around a much in love couple and their love for cricket.

The audience has been in absolute awe of Rajkummar and Janhvi's chemistry in the film and has called it their career best performance. Interestingly, Mr and Mrs Mahi marks Janhvi's second collaboration with Rajkummar after their 2021 release horror comedy Roohi. As Mr and Mrs Mahi has finally hit the screens, there have been speculations about how the movie will fare at the box office. Well it is reported that Mr and Mrs Mahi will be having a good start at the box office today.

Given the substantial buzz, Mr and Mrs Mahi is likely to make a collection of around Rs 6-8 crores on the opening. And with Cinema Lovers Day offer of tickets at Rs 99 tickets, the occupancy is likely to be phenomenal today and following which Mr and Mrs Mahi might have a double digit opening. If the reports turned out to be true, Mr and Mrs Mahi will manage to beat Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Tabu's Crew to become the fourth highest opener of 2024. For the uninitiated, Crew had made an opening day collection of Rs 9.25 crores.

Meanwhile, talking about his character and the movie, Rajkummar stated, "My character's name is Mahendra, he is a failed cricketer, he had a lot of passion in his life for cricket, he wanted to be a cricket player one day and play for the country, but it didn't happen because of peer pressure, because of family pressure, so today he is walking on the path shown by his father and then they get married, Mahima and Mahendra. And then how he lived his dream through her. Because she used to play cricket, so he decides that he will train her and she is a doctor".
