Mr and Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection Day 10: Rajkummar-Janhvi’s Film Fails To Cross 30Cr During 2nd Weekend

Mr and Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection Day 10: Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapor, who have successfully created a niche for themselve in the industry, have been grabbing eyeballs for their recent release Mr and Mrs Mahi. Directed by Sharan Sharma, this sports romantic drama revolves around a couple and their obsession with the game of cricket. Interestingly, Mr and Mrs Mahi marks Rajkummar and Janhvi's second collaboration after their 2021 release horror comedy Roohi which also feature Varun Sharma in the lead.

Also starring Rajesh Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Purnendu Bhattacharya, Zarina Wahab, Arjit Taneja and Yamini Das in supporting roles, Mr and Mrs Mahi managed to create a substantial buzz in the town and opened to rave reviews from the audience. The fans were all praises for the simple and sweet storyline and called it Rajkummar and Janhvi's career best performances. Mr and Mrs Mahi also saw a good opening at the box office with an opening day collection of Rs 6.75 crores and turned out to be Rajkummar and Janhvi's second highest opener after Stree and Dhadak respectively.

To note, Mr and Mrs Mahi, which had an average opening weekend, saw a continuous dip in numbers during the first week. But despite the drop, it did maintained a good hold at the box office. While the opening weekend did bring a relief for the maker with slight jump, Mr and Mrs Mahi has failed to cross Rs 30 crore mark during the second weekend. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Mr and Mrs Mahi, which minted Rs 2.15 crores on day 9 (second Saturday), saw a slight drop in numbers and raked in Rs 2.01 crores which took the total collection of the film to Rs 29.41 crores. While Mr and Mrs Mahi is facing a competition from Sharvari and Abhay Verma's Munjya, this drop could also be because if the India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup 2024 match.

Meanwhile, Janhvi is over the moon about the love coming her way post Mr and Mrs Mahi release. Talking about the same, she stated, "Your love has motivated me to keep going and keep working even harder and pushing myself in my craft. Your love is worth everything! Mr & Mrs Mahi is a piece of my heart and for all those who understood and connected with what we were trying to say, thank you".
