Mr and Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection Day 3: Janhvi’s Film Sees Slight Jump In Numbers; Fails To Beat Maidaan

Mr and Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection Day 3: Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor have collaborated for the second time recently and the audience can't keep calm about it. The duo, who had first worked together in the 2021 release Roohi, are now winning hearts with their performance in Mr and Mrs Mahi. Helmed by Sharan Sharma, the movie revolves around a married couple who is obsessed with the game of cricket

To note, Mr and Mrs Mahi had opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics and fans were in absolute awe of Janhvi and Rajkummar's chemistry. Interestingly, Mr and Mrs Mahi made an opening day collection of Rs 6.75 crores on the release day. However, despite rave reviews from the audience, Mr and Mrs Mahi was seen struggling on the second day and much to everyone's surprise it saw a dip of over 31% as it made a collection of Rs 4.6 crores.

Interestingly, Mr and Mrs Mahi has seen a slight growth on day 3 (first Sunday). According to a report published in Sacnilk, Mr and Mrs Mahi raked in Rs 5.50 crores (as per early estimates) following which the total collection of the movie stands as Rs 16.85 crores. If the reports turned out to be true, Mr and Mrs Mahi fail to beat Aja Devgn starrer Maidaan. To note, Maidaan had minted Rs 6.4 crores on its first Sunday.

Meanwhile, talking about his character and the movie, Rajkummar stated, "My character's name is Mahendra, he is a failed cricketer, he had a lot of passion in his life for cricket, he wanted to be a cricket player one day and play for the country, but it didn't happen because of peer pressure, because of family pressure, so today he is walking on the path shown by his father and then they get married, Mahima and Mahendra. And then how he lived his dream through her. Because she used to play cricket, so he decides that he will train her and she is a doctor".
