Mr and Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection Day 4: Janhvi’s Film Sees Major Dip; Mints Half Of Dhadak’s Day 4 Number

Mr and Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection Day 4: Rajkummar Rao and Janvhi Kapoor have become the new most talked about onscreen couple these days. After the 2021 release horror comedy Roohi, the duo has once again collaborated for Mr and Mrs Mahi and the audience has been all praises for their sizzling chemistry. Helmed by Sharan Sharma, Mr and Mrs Mahi revolves around a couple who is obsessed with the game of cricket.

As the movie had managed to create a massive buzz in the town, it opened to rave reviews from the audience. In fact, many termed it as Rajkummar and Janhvi's career best performances. Interestingly, Mr and Mrs Mahi had a decent start at the box office with a collection of Rs 6.75 crores and turned out to be Rajkummar and Janhvi's second highest opener after Stree and Dhadak respectively. While the movie had an average collection at the box office during the opening weekend, it seemed to have witnessed a significant dip of over 60% in the collections.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Mr and Mrs Mahi raked in Rs 5.5 crores on Sunday (day 3) followed by a collection of Rs 2.15 crores on the first Monday (day 4) as per early estimates which took the over all collection of the movie to Rs 19 crores. If the reports turned out to be true, Mr and Mrs Mahi failed to beat Janhvi's debut film Dhadak on the first Monday and minted double of its collections. For the uninitiated, Dhadak had raked in Rs 5.52 crores on day 4 (first Monday). It will be interesting to see how Mr and Mrs Mahi will fare at the box office in the coming days.

Meanwhile, talking about his character in Mr and Mrs Mahi, Rajkummar stated, "My character's name is Mahendra, he is a failed cricketer, he had a lot of passion in his life for cricket, he wanted to be a cricket player one day and play for the country, but it didn't happen because of peer pressure, because of family pressure, so today he is walking on the path shown by his father and then they get married, Mahima and Mahendra. And then how he lived his dream through her. Because she used to play cricket, so he decides that he will train her and she is a doctor".
