Mr and Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection Day 6 Prediction: Rajkummar-Janhvi’s Film Moves Towards 25Cr Despite Dip

Mr and Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection Day 6 Prediction: After winning hearts with their impressive chemistry in Hardik Mehta's 2021 directorial Roohi, Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor have collaborated once again for Sharan Sharma's Mr and Mrs Mahi and the audience can't keep calm. Also starring Rajesh Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Purnendu Bhattacharya, Zarina Wahab, Arjit Taneja and Yamini Das in supporting roles, Mr and Mrs Mahi has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

To note, Mr and Mrs Mahi narrates the story of a much in love couple Mahendra, a failed cricketer, and Mahima, a doctor, who share the same nickname Mahi and their obsession with the game of cricket. After creating a substantial buzz in the town, Mr and Mrs Mahi opened to rave reviews from the audience. In fact, it recorded an opening day collection of Rs 6.75 crores and turned out to be Janhvi and Rajkummar's second highest opener after Dhadak and Stree.

While the first Monday came with a massive drop of over 60% in numbers, Mr and Mrs Mahi earned Rs 2.15 crores (day 4). Interestingly, Mr and Mrs Mahi has been trying to hold its ground at the box office and raked in Rs 2.02 crores yesterday (day 5/ first Tuesday) which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 21.02 crores. Given the trend, Mr and Mrs Mahi is likely to mint Rs 1.5-2 crores today (day 6/ first Wednesday) and will be inching close to Rs 25 crores mark.

Meanwhile, Janhvi is hoping the movie will do well at the box office. In fact, the quest to get a box office hit is what pushes her to try different roles. Talking about the same, she told Free Press Journal, "I always want the numerical conversion of the films I do or the roles I decide to play. I constantly seek validation for my work. My last theatrical hit was my debut film Dhadak, Roohi came out in the pandemic but since we opened up with 50% capacity, it was a success for the times we were living in. But I don't count it as a success. Mili didn't do well the box office. Once I will get that numerical validation, then I start to believe that I am doing well."
