Mr And Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection Day 8: Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Mr And Mrs Mahi seems to be facing a strong competition from the latest Friday release, 'Munjya' which stars Sharvari and Abhay Verma in the lead. Rajkummar-Janhvi's film hit cinemas on May 31, 2024 and opened to mixed reviews from fans and critics alike. The movie is produced by Karan Johar-led Dharma Productions.

Directed by Sharan Sharma (of Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl fame), Mr And Mrs Mahi marks Rajkummar Rao's second collaboration with Janhvi Kapoor after 'Roohi'. The film revolves around the story of Mahendra (played by Rao) and Mahi (played by Kapoor) who share a common interest for cricket.

Mr And Mrs Mahi opened to a bumper box office collection of Rs 6.85 crores. The film witnessed a slight drop in numbers and minted Rs 17.12 cr on its opening weekend.

The movie gradually started to dip towards the end of its 1st week. The box office n umbers dropped further below on day 8 after the arrival of Sharvai-Abhay's horror-comedy flick 'Munjya'.

According to the latest Instagram post shared by Dharma Productions, the romantic sports-drama raked in Rs 1.31 cr on 2nd Friday, taking the total collection to Rs 26.20 crores.

Day 3 : ₹ 5.62 cr

Day 4 : ₹ 2.21 cr

Day 5 : ₹ 1.86 cr

Day 6 : ₹ 1.90 cr

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya - based on the supernatural creature of the same name common in the Maharashtrian folklore - minted Rs 4.21 crores on its day 1. The movie hit cinemas yesterday (June 7).
