Munjya Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: After winning hearts with horror comedies like Stree, Roohi and Bhediya, Dinesh Vijay and Amar Kaushik have collaborated once again and this time for their fourth horror comedy now. We are talking about Munjya which features Sharvari, Mona Singh, Abhay Verma, Suhas Joshi and Sathyaraj in the lead. To note, this Aditya Sarpotdar directorial revolves around the legend of Munjya which is inspired by Indian folklore and mythology and happens to be the fourth film of Maddock Supernatural Universe.

Interestingly, Munjya has managed to create a massive buzz in the town with its intriguing trailer of the cast. And while Munjya is getting a decent review so far, this horror comedy is expected to have a slow start at the box office. According to a report published in Pinkvilla, Munjya is expected to make a collection of Rs 1.75-2 crores today (day 1/ Friday) at the box office. It is reported that Munjya has managed to sold 3000 tickets for the mid-night shows in the top 3 multiplexes for Thursday. Besides, MovieMax has also sold 500 tickets for the opening day.

Interestingly, Munjya will be witnessing a box office competition from Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Mr and Mrs Mahi. With Mr and Mrs Mahi having a strong hold at the box office, it will be interesting to see how Munjya will fare at the box office in the coming days.

Meanwhile, talking about her character in Munjya, Sharvari told ETimes, "My character is a modern girl who wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing, many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character".
