Munjya Box Office Collection Day 13: Sharvari’s Film Refuses To Slow Down; Crosses 65Cr In Week 2

Munjya Box Office Collection Day 13: Sharvari and Abhay Verma have all the reasons to grin from ear to ear. After all, their first collaboration Munjya has been winning millions of hearts. The horror comedy, which is helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar, has been the fourth film of Maddock Supernatural Universe after Stree, Roohi and Bhediya. Also starring Mona Singh, Suhasini Singh, Sathyaraj and Taranjot Sing in the lead, Munjya is based on the legend of Munjya which is inspired by Indian folklore.

Needless to say, Munjya has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year and it has managed to win millions of hearts with its intriguing storyline and impressive VFx work. In fact, fans have been lauding Abhay's performance and his chemistry with Sharvari and Mona Singh. Interestingly, as Munjya was released amid immense buzz, it recorded an opening day collection of Rs 4 crores and saw an incredible hold at the box office during the first week. In fact, Munjya even saw an impressive growth in collections during the second weekend and crossed Rs 50 crores mark.

However, Munjya has been seeing continuous drop in numbers during the second week but is making sure to have a good hold at the box office. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Munjya minted Rs 5.25 crores on day 11 (second Monday) followed by a collection of Rs 3.4 crores on day 12 (second Tuesday). The horror comedy further saw another drop in numbers and minted Rs 2.85 crores on day 13 (second Wednesday) as per early estimates and minted Rs 65.30 crores. Interesting it is giving a tough competition to Kartik Aaryan's Chandu Champion which is the recent release of the year.

Meanwhile, talking about her character in Munjya, Sharvari told ETimes, "My character is a modern girl who wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing, many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character".
