Munjya Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction: Sharvari’s Horror Comedy To Mint 6Cr Today; Inch Close To 10Cr

Munjya Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction: Sharvari, who made a mark with her debut movie Bunty Aur Babli 2, has all the reasons to be on cloud nine these days. After all, her recent release Munjya is doing wonders at the box office. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the movie also features Abhay Verma, Mona Singh, Suhas Joshi and Sathyaraj in the lead and has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. After all, Munjya is the fourth film of Maddock Supernatural Universe and revolves around the legend of Munjya which is inspired by Indian folklore.

In fact, the teaser, trailer, songs and everthing about Munjya has managed to create a substantial buzz in the town. As Munjya opened to rave reviews from the audience, it saw a good start at the box office with a collection of Rs 4 crores on the opening day (day 1/ Friday). Interestingly, it has turned out to be Sharvari's highest opener so far after beating Bunty Aur Babli 2 which raked in Rs 2.60 crores on day of release. In fact, it also managed to beat Rajkummar Rao's Srikanth which had minted Rs 2.25 crores on the opening day.

Given the trend and a positive word of mouth, Munjya is expected to see an impressive hike in numbers today (day 2/ Saturday) and is expected to mint Rs 6 crores as the over all collection of the movie will inch close to Rs 10 crores. While Munjya is witnessing a competition from Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Mr and Mrs Mah, it will be interesting to see how this Sharvari starrer will fare at the box office during the opening weekend.

Meanwhile, talking about her character in Munjya, Sharvari told ETimes, "My character is a modern girl who wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing, many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character".
