Munjya Box Office Collection Day 20 Prediction: Maddock Films' recent production Munjya has been creating ripples in the industry since the beginning and now that this horror comedy in the third week, it continues to win hearts. Helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya is based on based on the legend of Munjya which is inspired by Indian folklore and features Abhay Verma, Sharvari, Mona Singh, Suhasini Joshi, Sathyaraj and Taranjot Singh in the lead. Interestingly, Munjya is the fourth installment of their supernatural universe after Stree, Roohi and Bhediya.

And while Munjya has managed to create a massive buzz in the town, it opened to rave reviews from the audience and made an opening day collection of Rs 4 crores. To note, Munjya has been going strong since the first week and refused to slow down even in the second week. As Munjya entered the third week lately, it also recorded the highest third Sunday of 2024 as it minted Rs 6.85 crores. Although, Munjya did see a significant drop in numbers on third Monday, it is still maintaining a strong hold at the box office.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Munjya raked in Rs 2.25 crores on day 18 (third Monday) followed by an earning of Rs 2.15 crores on day 19 (second Tuesday) as per early estimates which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 87.70 crores. Given the trend, Munjya is likely to mint Rs 2-2.5 crores today (day 20/ third Wednesday) and might cross Rs 90 crores mark at the box office. It will be interesting to see how Munjya will fare at the box office in the third week as Deepika Padukone and Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD is hitting the screens on June 27.

Meanwhile, talking about Munjya's success, Sharvari stated, "My producer Dinesh Vijan and my director Aditya Sarpotdar had an insanely massive aim to deliver a theatrical experience like no other through Munjya. The were clear that the CGI character needed to wow people and Dinesh sir went to the best VFX company to fulfil their vision. I was blown away when I saw the CGI character in the film and the audience is feeling the same too which is why our film is such a huge blockbuster".
