Munjya Box Office Collection Day 3 Prediction: The fans of Bollywood horror comedies like Stree, Roohi and Bhediya have been in for a treat lately as Dinesh Vijay and Amar Kaushik collaborated once again for another horror comedy. We are talking about Munjya which features Sharvari and Abhay Verma. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya is the fourth film of Maddock Supernatural Universe and revolves around the legend of Munjya which is inspired by Indian folklore.

Needless to say, it has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year and also features Mona Singh, Suhas Joshi and Sathyaraj in the lead. Interestingly, Munjya opened to rave reviews from the audience and turned out to be Sharvari's highest opener with an opening day collection of Rs 4 crores. And given the positive word of mouth, Munjya has managed to take the box office by a storm and saw a growth of over 80% in collections on the second day.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Munjya minted Rs 7.25 crores yesterday (day 2/ first Saturday) which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 11.25 crores. Given the trend, Munjya is expected to go strong today (day 3/ first Sunday) and will be seen having another jump in the numbers. The horror comedy is expected to mint Rs 8-10 crores today and will be inching close to Rs 20 crores during the weekend. While Munjya is witnessing a competition from Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Mr and Mrs Mah, it will be interesting to see how this Sharvari starrer will fare at the box office during the opening weekend.

Meanwhile, talking about her character in Munjya, Sharvari told ETimes, "My character is a modern girl who wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing, many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character".
