Munjya Box Office Collection Day 4 Prediction: Sharvari and Abhay Verma have all the reasons to grin from ear to ear. After all, their first collaboration Munjya has been doing wonders at the box office. Helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar and backed by Dinesh Vijay's Maddock films, Munjya is horror comedy and is the fourth film of Maddock Supernatural Universe. Also starring Mona Singh, Suhas Joshi and Sathyaraj in the lead, the film revolves around the legend of Munjya which is inspired by Indian folklore

While the trailer managed to create a substantial buzz in the town, Munjya saw a good opening at the box office wherein it collected Rs 4 crores (day 1/ Friday) and became Sharvari's highest opener after beating Bunty Aur Babli 2. Interestingly, the positive word of mouth also worked in favour of this horror comedy. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Munjya saw a jump of 81% in numbers on day 2 (first Saturday) and minted Rs 7.25 crores.

However, day 3 failed to recreate the magic for Munjya and witnessed a slight jump in collections. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Munjya earned Rs 7.75 crores yesterday (day 3/ first Sunday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 19 crores. Looks like Munjya's numbers were impact by its clash with Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's Mr and Mrs Mahi along with the massive craze for India vs Pakistan's T20 World Cup Match.

And now, going by the trend, Munjya is expected to witness a huge dip in numbers today (day 4/ first Monday) and will record its lowest collection so far. The horror comedy is expected to earn Rs 2-4 crores today and will cross Rs 20 crores mark. With Kartik Aaryan's Chandu Champion hitting the theatres this week, it will be interesting to see how Munjya will fare at the box office in the coming days.

Meanwhile, talking about her character in Munjya, Sharvari told ETimes, "My character is a modern girl who wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing, many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character".
